PHLOMIS RUSSELIANA

A tough, drought-tolerant perennial known for its striking architectural form. Large, evergreen, heart-shaped leaves create dense ground cover, suppressing weeds and adding year-round interest. From June to July, tall spires of unusual, soft yellow flowers emerge in tiered whorls, attracting bees and other pollinators.

Thriving in dry shade as well as sun, this low-maintenance, deer-resistant plant reaches approximately 1m in height. Ideal for gravel gardens, borders, and naturalistic planting schemes, Phlomis russeliana is a reliable and easy-care choice for difficult sites.
