Philodendron ‘Red Congo’ Mint Variegated (wk7-K)

Philodendron ‘Red Congo’ Mint Variegated is a cultivated aroid known for its large, slightly wavy leaves displaying a mix of deep green, pale mint, and subtle red tones. New leaves emerge in a light burgundy red with dark green and mint marbling, with a glossy, reflective surface that highlights the color contrast. Mature leaves show irregular swirls and patches of green and mint, with red appearing along petioles, stems, and occasionally on the leaf undersides, giving each growth a distinct, layered appearance. Petioles are thick, upright, and often show hints of red, supporting broad, slightly arching leaves. This cultivar grows with a robust, upright habit and benefits from bright, indirect light to maintain the clarity of its variegation and the vibrancy of its red highlights. It thrives in well-draining soil kept evenly moist, with stable humidity and warm temperatures.
