Peperomia Pepperspot

Peperomia ‘Pepperspot’ is one of the most charming trailing houseplants around. Fine, wiry stems blushed a deep burgundy-red are dotted with almost bead-like, round leaves in glossy dark green, creating the impression of scattered peppercorns cascading from the pot.

Origins

Peperomia ‘Pepperspot’ is thought to be a cultivated hybrid of South American Peperomia species, which grow as small epiphytes across the understorey of tropical rainforests in warm, humid, dappled shade.

Soil and Substrate

Peperomia ‘Pepperspot’ has a shallow, delicate root system and is prone to rot if kept too wet. If grown in a terrarium, we would suggest using our ABG Terrarium Potting Mix.
