Paw Paw ‘Red Lady’

A dwarf self-pollinating papaya suitable for pots and smaller gardens. One of the most cold tolerant varieties available. The sweet, melting flesh of the papaya is the epitome of exotic backyard fruit, but you don’t have to live in the tropics to grow your own. Happily growing outside in cooler areas if planted in a protected spot, preferably against a north-facing wall. Will also grow well in a pot inside where it’s tropical-looking leaves create a striking effect. Self-pollinating so no need for more than one plant for fruit.
