Passionfruit ‘Purple’

Create a tropical feel to your garden with the lush Passionfruit vine. Glossy green leaves, beautiful large flowers and edible fruits, one plant easily covers an unsightly fence – able to grow up to six metres in one summer! Undeniably one of the most popular fruiting climbers in Australia, whether it’s the fact that you can’t make a pav without passionfruit, or its ability to quickly cover an unsightly fence, this dual purpose climber from South America is an Aussie backyard favourite. Seed is slow to germinate so soak in water for 48 hours before planting. Its worth the wait though because you’ll have fruit in under 12 months once they are up and running! Protect from frost while young.
