Pachira aquatica – Thick Trunk – Money Tree

Pachira aquatica is a sought-after tree that adapts extremely well to being grown indoors. Under fengshui, a properly placed Pachira aquatica in the home or office will create positive energy/chi, bringing prosperity and good luck. As a result, the Money Tree is a fashionable gift for birthdays, weddings and housewarmings.

This thick-trunked Money Tree has one large stem for a striking look and even greater resilience to environmental stresses. The top of the Money Tree has the 5-lobed leaf arrangement which is considered lucky. Other names include Malabar or Guiana Chestnut, French Peanut, Saba Nut, Dollar Plant and Provision Tree.

Please note: some leaf loss and stem damage may occur during transit despite our best efforts due to the fragile nature of the stems. This is a fast growing plant and will quickly regenerate new stems during the growing season. Plants are often trimmed back during the winter months in order to encourage good foliage development the following year.
