Dried Gypsophila Bunch (Baby’s Breath)

Gypsophila, or Baby’s Breath, is famous for its ability to create a soft, misty “cloud” of tiny white flowers. It is the essential ingredient that florists use to soften hard lines, fill gaps, and add a romantic, airy quality to any arrangement.

These dried bunches are 100% natural. We harvest them when the tiny flowers are fully open and air-dry them to preserve their delicate shape. Whether you bunch them together en masse to create a stunning “flower cloud” centrepiece or use sprigs to decorate gifts and buttonholes, they add instant elegance to any setting.

About these Stems

These are stems of Gypsophila paniculata. Unlike the fresh version which wilts, these dried stems hold their shape indefinitely. They are natural white/cream (not bleached), retaining a subtle, earthy warmth.

The Texture: The tiny flowers dry to a crisp, papery texture. They are delicate, so handle with care!

Styling Ideas

Gypsophila is the ultimate multi-tasker:

• The Cloud Vase: Use a large bunch on its own in an opaque vase. It creates a modern, sculptural ball of white texture.
• Table Settings: Snip small sprigs and tuck them into napkins or place card holders for a simple, elegant wedding look.
• Wreath Filler: Use it to fill the gaps between larger items (like pine cones or pumpkins) in seasonal wreaths. It acts like “floral snow.”

Perfect Dried Companions

Create a balanced display by pairing the soft Gypsophila with bold structures:

• Dried Roses: The Romantic Classic. Nothing says “romance” like red or pink dried roses nestled in a cloud of white Gypsophila. Ideally suited for bedrooms or gifts.
• Dried Oats (Avena): The Country Look. The dangling seed heads of oats mixed with the misty Gypsophila creates a relaxed, meadow-style arrangement perfect for farmhouse kitchens.

Shedding Note
Gypsophila naturally sheds a few tiny flowers when moved. This is normal! We recommend giving the bunch a gentle shake outside before arranging it, then placing it where it won’t be disturbed.
