Fargesia robusta ‘Pingwu’ (Bamboo)

Common name: Pingwu Bamboo

Description: This robust clump-forming bamboo is prized for its thick, sturdy culms and dense foliage that creates excellent screening potential. The canes are an attractive green-yellow colour, often developing subtle striping, whilst the abundant narrow leaves form dense clusters along the stems. ‘Pingwu’ is particularly valued for its vigorous yet controlled growth habit and exceptional hardiness. The bamboo provides superb year-round structure and creates effective living screens or windbreaks. Its upright growth pattern makes it ideal for narrow spaces where screening is required.
