Excelsior Foxglove Mix

Something about foxglove makes the garden feel like the setting of a magical folk tale. With its fantastical woodland appearance, tall foxglove looks merry in big drifts and creates an elegant look along fences. With Excelsior, you can practically sense the presence of elves and other woodland creatures. Mixed pink, red, purple or cream flowers rise above featherlike fronds, standing up to six feet tall. The Excelsior Foxglove tends to self-sow and naturalizes well, helping to recreate this whimsical look year after year. While this foxglove mix won’t attract princesses or knights on white horses, it will bring flitting hummingbirds and floating butterflies to your landscape. Digitalis purpurea ‘Excelsior’
