Why You’ll Love the Curcuma Siam Splash

• Exotic pink and cream bracts with delicate yellow flowers hidden inside.
• Compact size (H50, pot size P13) makes it perfect for side tables, desks, and window sills.
• Thrives in the European summer season, flowering beautifully indoors.
• Pet-safe safe for homes with cats and dogs.

Light & Placement

Place in bright, indirect light. A sunny windowsill with sheer curtains is ideal. Avoid harsh midday sun, which can scorch its delicate leaves.

Water & Humidity

Keep the soil evenly moist during the growing and flowering season. Curcuma loves higher humidity, so mist regularly or place on a pebble tray. Reduce watering in autumn as the plant naturally enters dormancy.

Soil & Potting

Plant in a well-draining, nutrient-rich potting mix. A blend designed for tropical flowering plants works best. Always ensure your pot has drainage holes.

Toxicity & Safety

Non-toxic and pet-safe, making it a worry-free addition for cat and dog owners.

Growth & Propagation

Curcuma Siam Splash grows from rhizomes. After the flowering season, the plant will rest the leaves may die back, but the rhizome will re-sprout in spring. Propagation is possible by dividing rhizomes during repotting.

Seasonal & Special Care

Flowering occurs in summer and can last for several weeks. After blooming, let the foliage die back naturally. Store the rhizome in its pot in a cool, dry place until new shoots emerge in spring.

Common Issues

• Yellowing leaves: often a sign of overwatering or dormancy.
• No flowers: insufficient light or lack of seasonal rest.
• Spider mites and aphids: check undersides of leaves and treat promptly with neem oil if needed.
