Citron ‘Buddha’s Hand’

Named for its resemblance to the fingers shown on many Buddha representations, this ‘novelty fruit’ contains no juice, however the rind is high in oils and can be zested for usein cooking and to flavour alcoholic beverages. Highly aromatic, a little goes a long way, with salads, dressings and cakes all suitable for this intriguing citron.
