Before The Storm Bearded Iris

Get in touch with your dark side with this outstanding black iris. Considered one of the darkest of the black irises, Before the Storm Bearded Iris features moderately sized flowers with widely-flaring falls and a soft fragrance. A midseason bloomer, Before the Storm’s purple to pitch-black coloring is so dark that it reflects nearly blue off the petals. Easy to grow, deer resistant and drought tolerant, this black iris will return year after year. A truly dramatic and highly elegant addition to any sunny courtyard or urban garden, Before the Storm also pairs well with our pure white Immortality iris. Iris germanica ‘Before the Storm’
