White Valerian

A much-loved old-world favourite, this valerian has elegant sweet-scented blooms and is rarely without flower from spring through to autumn. Soft fleshy blue-green foliage adds to its charm, with its airy heads of white offering the perfect companion to roses or bearded iris. As tough as they come, it thrives in all soil or garden conditions including heat and coastal. The ultimate romantic low-maintenance addition to borders, gravel, seaside orcottage gardens, requiring nothing more than deadheading to encourage repeat flowering.
