Silverine Hens & Chicks

Not your grandma’s hens and chicks. Silverine succulents are ready to add a touch of silver style to the ground or planters. Each succulent forms rosettes of sharply-pointed, silvery green leaves, flushed with reddish-purple at the base. In midsummer, these hens and chicks sprout unique, mauve-pink flowers held aloft on short, leafy stalks. This color may vary from season to season. Each “mother hen” succulent produces offshoots that replace it over the season, so hens and chicks create a gorgeous living carpet. Perfect for xeriscaping, especially if you’re looking for something totally different.
